Erica Weiner always tells the incredible stories behind each piece: "Ouroboros is a Greek word meaning 'tail devourer,' and it's one of the oldest mystical symbols in the world. Many ancient cultures invented the snake-eating-its-own-tail image independently, but all used it to represent the same thing: the cyclical nature of the universe. Use this snake like the ancients did: to meditate on the concept of renewal and destruction. Or just watch his diamond-studded head sparkle in the sun. Ouroboros jewelry has been found in Egyptian tombs more than 3000 years old, but this one is brand new, carved from wax in our studio, with tiny scales decorating his entire body. "
